The Tent at the Corner Our retail sales area, "the tent at the corner", is now open and the hours are 9-6 daily until Thanksgiving.  We currently have Fuji, Honeycrisp, Gala, Mcintosh, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Jonagold, Empire and Goldrush apples as well as our own fresh pressed cider. Check out our selection of jams, jellies, fruit butters, ciders, and baked goods, and order pies for the Thanksgiving holiday now. The tent is located at the corner of Morse Road and State Route 310.
 
2007 Maze Reflections We would like to thank eveyone who attended the maze this fall season. Your support of our family farm is greatly appreciated! This year we attempted to make improvements to the maze that for the most part proved otherwise. We switched from corn to sorghum sudan grass and found, for various reasons, that the former is much preferred over the latter. The other change we made was to not place various colors of barricade tape along the pathways. Many people commented that they missed this. We plan to bring back the barricade tape in 2008! One more change for 2008, and that is to have more employees patrolling the maze to reduce the number of cut-throughs. By the end of the season there were twice the number of pathways as originally intended. There may, and I emphasize may, be a return to a bridge inside the maze for 2008. We shall see. Thanks again for your patronage, and we'll see you at the maze in September 2008.
 
Goldrush Apple Update Many of you are eager to lay your hands on some Goldrush apples. Goldrush connoiseurs are fiercely loyal and were greatly disappointed to not be able to pick their favorite, and in the opinion of some, the only, apple worthy of their refrigerator. As with many other varieties we did not have enough Goldrush apples in the orchard to have u-pick. We imagined fisticuffs as one family staked a claim on a tree only to be challenged by some otherwise law abiding citizens. We picked the few Goldrush we had and have them available for sale in the tent. Tent hours are 9-6 daily through Thanksgiving.
